Test
This is a test. I'm figuring how to do this and will have lots of info about photography, journalism and maybe something useful about life in general. But mostly I'll talk about photography and journalism.

About Me
Howdy, I'm a professional photojournalist based in the Chicago area. I work for a company, as a staff photographer, that owns several weekly newspapers and a few magazines. I also do freelance work, and when I can, donate my time to arts organizations and non-for-profits. If you choose to read this blog you'll get a good idea of what I do. Also, realize that while I take my work seriously, I don't take myself seriously, so if something I say sounds ridiculous or over the top or just plain silly, realize I'm probably laughing at myself while I say it.
I also should mention that I update this blog sporadically. I try to be consistent, but sometimes I get distracted for a bit, a month or two, then I start back.
