About Me
Howdy, I'm a professional photojournalist based in the Chicago area. I work for a company, as a staff photographer, that owns several weekly newspapers and a few magazines. I also do freelance work, and when I can, donate my time to arts organizations and non-for-profits. If you choose to read this blog you'll get a good idea of what I do. Also, realize that while I take my work seriously, I don't take myself seriously, so if something I say sounds ridiculous or over the top or just plain silly, realize I'm probably laughing at myself while I say it.
I also should mention that I update this blog sporadically. I try to be consistent, but sometimes I get distracted for a bit, a month or two, then I start back.

were you on a kiack...kayack...kaiack... (HOW DO YOU SPELL THAT WORD!!!!??) when those were taken? if so, i want in next time.
Nah, no kayak here, this was a sailboat, about half out to a structure called the Crib, so we were about 2 miles off shore.
Nice crepusculence.
